Your aunt shows up two hours early with food nobody asked her to bring.
There is an eight-foot serving table in every package. That is what it is there for. Bigger packages get two or three.
The cake cannot sit in the sun, and somebody will put it in the sun.
Tell us which way the yard faces and we will set the serving table on the shaded end. Costs nothing, saves the cake.
At seven o'clock someone asks whether there are any more chairs.
Order for the people who said yes, not the people you invited. Garden chairs are three dollars — adding eight is cheaper than standing.
It rains hard for twenty minutes in May and then stops like nothing happened.
A frame tent handles that without anyone moving. If wind comes with it, that is what sidewalls are for — ask when you call.
The photographer wants golden hour and your yard faces the wrong way.
The open side of the tent about an hour before sunset is usually the shot. We can orient the frame for it if you say so up front.
Nobody can agree on whether ninety people or sixty are actually coming.
Size for the seated number, not the invite list. Half the people at a quinceañera are standing or dancing at any given moment.
The party ends late and the last thing anyone wants is to break down a tent.
So don't. We rent by the event — leave it up, go to bed, and we will come back for it Monday afternoon.
The single thing people are most surprised by when they call.
Most companies start a clock the moment the truck leaves. We don't. One price covers your event, however many days it sits in the yard.
Put it up Friday afternoon, have the party Saturday, let people come back Sunday for leftovers. We collect Monday afternoon. Same number as if you'd had it for six hours.
It matters more than it sounds. Nobody is rushing the decorator, nobody is tearing down at midnight, and nobody is paying a second day to avoid it.
The tent, the tables, the chairs and the string lights, for the length of your event. Linens and drapes too, on the Garden line.
Transport and installation. It depends on where you are, how far the truck parks from the spot, and what the ground is like — so we price it once we know, instead of burying an average in the headline number.
A flat delivery fee either overcharges the house ten minutes away or undercharges the one in Katy with a gate the truck can't clear. Neither is a good way to start.
Drag the headcount. The tent resizes to the foot, the tables reflow and the chairs land. This is the sheet we work from when we install.
The number that matters is not the guest list — it is how many of them are sitting down at the same time.

Read this before you call. A seated dinner needs about 12–15 square feet per person once you allow for chairs pushed back and people walking behind them. A buffet line eats another 100 square feet, a dance floor 200 to 300, and a bar about 100. If you want dinner and dancing under the same tent, price the next size up — it is cheaper than renting twice.
Five of these are in every package. Two more come with the Garden line. Three you ask for on the phone. That is the whole catalog — nothing is hiding behind a form.
Also on the truck. Sidewalls for wind or December, extra 8 ft tables, extra chairs, spandex in your color. If you can picture it in a Houston back yard, ask.
Priced the same way. Everything here is per event, not per day — it sits in the yard as long as the tent does. Transport and installation are the only things quoted separately.
Not a guest count — the people. Whose day it is, who is driving in, which yard it happens in. We'll tell you what it takes to sit all of them down and what it costs, in about four minutes.
The date, roughly how many people are sitting down, and the cross streets. That is enough to start.
Which tent fits and what it costs for your whole event, not per day. If a smaller one works we say so.
Gate width, slope, sprinklers, where the truck parks. This is the part that sets the install quote.
Spring weekends and December go first. Three weeks out is comfortable; Thursday is a gamble.
Mon–Sat, 9 to 7. If we're on an install we call back the same day.
We install in Houston, Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, Pearland, Stafford, League City, Porter, Hockley and Waller — and the rest of Greater Houston. If your town is not on the list, ask anyway.
We quote on the phone because every yard is different and a form cannot ask the follow-up question. Four minutes, usually.
